- The first step is downloading Xcode and installing the iOS simulator on your Mac. Here’s how to install the iOS simulator on your Mac: Download and install Xcode from the Mac App Store. Right click on the Xcode icon in the Applications folder and select Show Package Contents, as shown below. Open the iPhone Simulator application.
- Running Your App in the Simulator or on a Device. Choose a Scheme. A scheme is a collection of settings that specify the targets to build, the build configuration, and the executable environment for. Select a Simulated Device. Select a Real Device.
I created sample Titanium app. I can able to build and run it in Android Emulator. But when i try to run the same in Iphone Simulator im getting following error.
This guide explains how you can install the iOS simulator on your Mac and use it for developing your app. It is not possible to install the iOS Simulator on any operating system except macOS; if you want to develop an app for iOS from a Windows machine then you will need to use a physical iOS device. If it seems to be stuck on this prompt, you can open the iOS simulator manually (open -a Simulator) and then in the macOS toolbar choose Hardware → Device and select an iOS version and device that you'd like to open. You can also use this menu to open any version of the simulator that you like. Air iPhone is an alternate iOS simulator Windows which replicates the iPhone’s Graphical User Interface. To run Air iPhone you’ll need the AIR framework for the application to the program. Although Air iPhone is not a fully functional application, you will find a difference in running apps in it and the real device.
Note : In Mac I have xCode 3.1.4,3.2.4 and 4.2 installed.

May I know why this issue?
If its because of multiple xcode installed , Please let me know how to set default Xcode to be used by Titanium sdk.
Run Iphone Simulator On Mac Download
I dont want to install these xcode since we need all these xcode version for some other native development.
Thanks in Advance,
Saamy
- Make sure your simulator is using a 64-bit device (iPhone 5s or later) by checking the settings in the simulator’s Hardware Device menu. Depending on your development machine’s screen size, simulated high-screen-density iOS devices might overflow your screen. Grab the corner of the simulator and drag it to change the scale.
- Xamarin Remoted iOS Simulator lets you test and debug iOS applications entirely within Visual Studio Enterprise on Windows. The window toolbar includes a number of buttons to interact with the simulator, such as Home, Lock, Screenshot, and Settings.

X-Plane is the most powerful and accurate flight simulator available for personal computers, but it doesn’t just run on Windows; the version of X-Plane sold here at X-Plane.com runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. In fact, X-Plane is developed primarily on Macs.
In the past, we’ve called the Mac our secret weapon. Here’s what owner and developer Austin Meyer has to say about it:
People ask me all the time: “Austin, how can you compete with bigger companies? You cannot possibly stay in the flight sim business! You will be out of business by the end of the year!” (Never mind that they have been saying that since X-Plane was introduced in 1994!)
Part of the answer to that question is that I have a secret weapon that helps me develop X-Plane at a much faster rate than any would-be competitors. While other teams are struggling to keep their organization and computers working, I and my team are able to work quickly and freely with no computer glitches holding us back, unlike almost everyone else using computers today.

Naturally, I can not tell you what this secret weapon is, because I do not want to give away my competitive advantage!

The bottom line: X-Plane 10 Global is 100% compatible with Macs. You just need a high-end iMac or MacBook Pro. We do not recommend the “Mac Pro” as the top-of-the-line iMac will get similar or better performance for less money.

So go ahead. Give it a try. Download the Mac Demo today and experience flight simulation as it was meant to be—incredibly accurate, incredibly beautiful, and running on a Mac! Lame encoder zip. Or, if you’re ready to move up to the full version, order X-Plane from us and get a copy of X-Plane 10 Global guaranteed to run on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.
